- Corrosion and UV protection: ASTM D5894, with a 5-week cyclic test for UV exposure. [SE]

- Coating quality: no air bubbles or contamination visible in the coating.
- Radial rods: ends not visible through the center hub.
- Coating uniformity: No waves or lines.
