Material
Made from quality galvanized steel, welded steel plaster mesh is typically galvanized with zinc coating weights ranging from G-60 to G-90. “G” refers to galvanized, 60 or 90 indicates the weight of the zinc coating on the steel surface in ounces per square foot.
- G-60: 0.6 ounces of zinc galvanizing per square foot of steel surface.
- G-90: 0.9 ounces of zinc galvanizing per square foot of steel surface.
With a thicker layer of zinc, G-90 offers a greater level of corrosion resistance over G-60.
