Steel Welded Mesh Made of Non-Galvanized Black Steel Rebar is the most economic reinforcing mesh panels. Popular size: Rebar Steel dia.= 6mm @200mm c/c both ways, the welded mesh sizes are 2050mm x 6430mm & 2050mm x 7195mm. It has a rectangular or square grid pattern and is produced in flat sheets.
The fabric provides tensile strength and crack control to structural concrete elements. Compared with conventional bar reinforcement, the rebars welded mesh is efficient and cost effective for two reasons. First, the welded grid panel is generally specified and manufactured according to standard ( we are listing standard specifications for the UK, New Zealand /Australia and Germany in the table below) references making for easy site identification, quality control and management. Secondly, the mesh is manufactured in sheets or rolls resulting in a quick and simple site installation process.
Together with the welded rebars panels, Metech also supplies steel binding wire and nail wires applied for installing and building:
Steel Binding Wire (non-galvanized) Size: SWG 18, 20, 22 & 24. Packed in roll size approx. 25kg.
Nail Wire: size 4, 5 & 6mm (indented, crimped) or custom size.
Features:
Heavy type non-galvanized rebar welded wire mesh panels for reinforcement have precision size and good strength. Steel rebar welded grating is a kind of mesh type sheet with the vertical and horizontal rebars respectively welded together to a certain pitch and arranged at right angles to each other.
Applications of Non-galvanized rebars welded panels:
Generally used in surface beds (concrete floor slabs on fill) and concrete roads, mesh can also be used in suspended floor slabs, concrete walls, culverts / drains and composite brick / concrete retaining walls. Details as follows:
1. Surface beds (concrete floor slabs on fill) and concrete roads
2. Suspended floor slabs, concrete walls, culverts / drains and composite brick / concrete
retaining walls as concrete reinforced mesh
1. In construction of housing floor, roof wall, terrace, concrete pavement.
2. Deck paving, airport runway, tunnel lining, concrete pipes, piles of industry and civilian.
